Cultural landscape
In 1997, to give life to the cultural ferment of some of its personalities, an important study center was founded in S. Omobono Terme, an association that aims to create, through research, events, books, publications, exhibitions, conferences and more, everything that can improve the history, traditions, craftsmanship and cultural riches of the place and give impetus to a process of development of the socio-economic life of these locations.

It is the land that gave birth to illustrious figures, including the famous architect and painter of the eighteenth century Giacomo Quarenghi. This great artist, with his works, brought prestige to Italy, designing magnificent palaces both locally and internationally, especially in St. Petersburg, under the reign of Catherine II.

Val Imagna also boasts deep roots in pastoralism and seasonal transhumance, with livestock farming that has made it possible to produce fine typical cheeses. Furthermore, the valley is known for the art of woodworking, with a tradition of carvers and sculptors who create both everyday objects and sacred images.
